The Arizona Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) hosted their annual Take A Seat Gala and Charity Fundraiser last week and we had the pleasure of photographing the event!
Take A Seat is an ongoing project of the IFDA, where chapters from around the world conduct exhibitions and donate the proceeds to charities of their choice. The 2018 Take A Seat Charity theme was “Helping Heroes At Home” and the charity chosen by the Arizona Chapter was the Military Assistance Mission (MAM) whose mission is to help Arizona military and their familes. Members of the furnishings and design industry redesigned ordinary chairs and turned them into works of art to be auctioned off. The funds raised from the live auction were donated to MAM.
Emmy award winning, Nicole Crites from 3TV’s Good Evening Arizona (who also serves on the board of the MAM) was the emcee for the evening and Josh Levine of J. Levine Auction and Appraisal conducted the live auction bidding.
We encourage you all to learn more about the MAM and take part in next year’s Take A Seat Gala! Follow the link below to view all of the event photos or visit hautephotovideo.com!
